Following the removal of the M.F. Hussain exhibition in Asia House, the protest scheduled on Saturday 27th May at 3pm has been cancelled. The exhibition, which included nude images of Hindu Goddesses has provoked outrage amongst British Hindus and was originally meant to remain at Asia House till August. The removal of the exhibition is a postive step taken. However no apology has been offered to the Hindu community by the organisers of the exhibition or the High Commissioner of India who inaugurated the exhibition. Therefore we hope that all Hindu students continue to write letters to the Asia House and the High Commissioner of India, Hon: Kamalesh Sharma regarding the offence caused by the exhibition. The addresses to write to are: - Asia House, 63 Cavendish Street, London, W1G 7LR
- High Commission of India, India House, Aldwych, London, WC2B 4NA.
