Last month, Drishti, the NHSF (UK) President, attended the annual Royal Air Force Board dinner hosted by Air Chief Marshal Sir Stephen Hillier, at the RAF officers’ mess in Northolt. The closed reception was attended by a distinguished group of business leaders, RAF ambassadors and board members as well a handful of community leaders. Sir Stephen spoke at the end of the evening about the values and key milestones of the RAF over the last 99 years and the launch of RAF100, a celebration of the RAF’s services to Britain and its achievements over the last 100 years. Of particular note was the emphasis placed on engaging the youth, who will not only be the future of the RAF but will play a key role in reshaping that future whilst maintaining the values of respect, integrity, service and excellence that run through the RAF today.
