Central Zone

About us

NHSF Central Zone (CZ) consists of 12 Chapters as listed below and is located in the Midlands. Every year, our dedicated teams work very hard and closely with Chapters and student members to provide a great Hindu experience to all involved. Not only do we work with students but also with national and local charities including Anthony Nolan, Mandirs and local businesses.

Our Chapters

The Chapters affiliated in our zone include: Aston, BCU, Coventry, DMU, Keele, Leicester, Loughborough, Nottingham Trent, University of Birmingham, University of Nottingham, Warwick and Wolverhampton.

Aston University is the largest in Central Zone nevertheless many of our Chapters work together as they can support each other with local events such as Sewa Day or for Learning events. Most of these have Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, so join the fun and like or follow them and see what they are about!

No matter how big or small these are, there is something great available for everybody; be it learning, sewa, sports or social events. These fantastic Chapters will provide a home away from home and an opportunity to get involved with something new and different.

Central Zone Events

CZ Garba

This will continue to be the best Garba of the year except this time it will be our biggest ever despite last year being a record SELLOUT event with 1,200 student attending. It is certainly not an event not to be missed so get your tickets ASAP and don’t forget to bring your Garba outfits from home!

CZ Sports Competition

A fun, friendly but competitive day of sports and entertainment. The day will start with an aarti in the morning before the matches begin. The events include Kabaddi, Football, Netball, Badminton and Kho Kho. Winning teams will be presented with a trophy. Will one Chapter dominate the event or will there be jaw dropping, nail-biting finals… Come along to find out!

CZ meeting

Central Zone Chapters will meet and review their progress. This is a good opportunity to catch up with the rest of our Zone, to share our success stories and to tackle problems together as a team.

CZ Bhakti event

Traditionally, there has been Krishna Kirtan and the ever successful 108 Hanuman Chalisa day. This will follow a similar theme again this year so look out for the event details on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
