A new introduction to the event list year this was Badminton.<\/p>\n<p>The venues used for previous events have now reached maximum capacity and therefore we need to look into alternative options. Shall we divide the chapters into 3 zones and have zonal qualifiers, or shall we turn the event into a weekend competition?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Project Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There will be two stages to this project:<\/p>\n<p>1) Create an efficient system through which research\/feedback can be gathered every year regarding the sports competition. To get a good understanding of what has and hasn\u2019t worked well in the past and get a good feel of the type of atmosphere that needs to be generated by this competition, you will then be required to test and improve this system. Ensure that you get a balanced account from both chapters and the organizing committee.<\/p>\n<p>2) Source potential solutions for the problem described in the background information section. You will then be required to propose which solution would be best. This should become the bulk of your project.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Resources Required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Phone<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Laptop<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Ability to commute between a few universities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sustainability<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>You will be required to ensure that the research system you create is sustainable so that the current committee can continue to use it after this project is over. You will also be required to ensure all the information you gather is easily analysed by any member of the committee.
