VICHAAR MANTHAN ON CAMPUS
Vichaar Manthan on Campus (VMC) began as a collaboration between Vichaar Manthan, an organisation promoting dialogue on modern-day issues through a Hindu civilisational lens, and NHSF (UK) in 2019.
The event, with over 200 attendees, was hosted at King’s College London, and had the title ‘Cows, Curry and Caste: Seeking a Hindu Identity’. The expert panel looked to dissect common misconceptions and dilution of the modern day Hindu identity, and discussed how the British Hindu identity is being forged today.
Over the years, there have been more VMC’s which have been jointly planned and delivered by London Zone and Central Zone universities covering topics such as idea formulation and the effects of colonisation on education.
