DHARMIC PRAYER ROOM
The first-ever Dharmic Prayer Room was opened on 30th June at King’s College London. Whilst Mandirs on campus have existed prior to this, a space purely for Dharmic faiths has never existed in universities across the UK. KCL, after campaigning for many years, opened a room on campus dedicated to all Dharmic faiths: Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs, Jains and many more. This is a huge achievement and a stepping stone in creating safe and welcoming places for all Dharmic faiths on campuses across the country.
This new addition to the KCL campus truly embodies the theme for our 30th anniversary year: Stand up, Speak up, Show up!
