The Hindu Experience is fast approaching. The much talked about event taking place on Sunday 25th July 2010 at Kingsbury High School, London is set to be the first of its kind with activities, debates and taste for every generation and culture. Do you have questions? Do you have doubts? Do you have misconceptions? This is the place to be to get the answers to your questions. Visitors will be able to get the answers to their questions through the seven areas, baal (kids), dharma (values), conferences, earth, health & lifestyle, talent and taste, all in one location. These areas signify some of the important elements within Hinduism and how they should be used within our everyday lives, for example teaching our children what Hinduism is, the foods that originate from our ancestors and how these can help towards building a healthier lifestyle

The Baal zone will provide rich experiences, combining a variety of exciting interactive, musical, physical and mental activities. Get musical with bhangra dancing and tabla classes and creative with kite making, rangoli (colours), pottery and much more.

The Dharma Zone will enable visitors to explore and understand what our Dharma is, how it is relevant and what it can offer in today’s world. Learn about the influence of Hinduism on life, modern science, art, music, language, dance and culture. Talks and debates will be hosted by leading academics in Hindu philosophy.

Experience a day’s journey dedicated to motivation, empowerment and change through the Conference zone. Take part in the interactive workshops with insightful and renowned speakers, breaking out into stimulated debates and discussions on key issues. Explore the dynamic learning zones to compliment your learning journey and a chance to meet interesting people and network. The Hindu Experience conference will engage, empower and inspire.

Enter the global forest of life in the Earth zone and start an exciting journey into discovering your karmic footprint through a series of interactive and fun areas that will encourage sustainable actions as well as challenge and stimulate positive change in your life. Discover how modern day theories on the environment relate back to Vedic scriptures and experience how our lifestyle actions in the home, the way we travel, what we eat and how much we dispose affect our climate, carbon volumes and the natural environment we live in. It’s simple: Change Your Karma – Change Our Climate! Engage and listen to talks on stress management, workshops on Yoga and daily living balance at the Health & Lifestyle zone. Explore exhibitions on Vaastu Shaastra and Ayurveda, meditation and acupressure, and discover daily practices for healthy well-being. Our way of life gives great importance and direction on living life. Research and insight, dating back thousands of years, can still be practiced in some form today to improve the quality of our lives.

If all the above is not enough, then let your senses experience the aromas and flavours of authentic vegetarian cuisine from India – Not only will the mouth watering dishes be tasty but healthy too. Taste, experience and indulge in the Taste zone

Each area will be both interactive and informative, allowing visitors to really get a taste of this religion. The one day event hopes to bring a cultural experience to all visiting cultures through the various zones.
