Project Name
NHSF (UK) Grants Research Project
Project Mentor
Preet Chheda (Subject to availability)
Project Background
NHSF (UK) have actively been looking for grants for a number of years, however due to time restrictions and workload that this project entails, there is a much greater level of detailed work required. Previously we have looked into sewa grants and sports grants. This project is exceedingly important as there is an access to funds that we may have yet have not been able to tap into yet.
Project Description
The project will require you to research and formulate a strategy in which we can achieve a list of grants that we are eligible to apply for and apply to some. This extensive research will look into grants available from the government, local councils and organisations. This will be an ongoing project that once your internship is over, someone else from finance team can continue from the work already put in by yourself. By the end of your internship we would hope to have a list of grants we can apply for and also perhaps await outcome on ones that we can apply for during the course of your internship. There may also be a chance for some involvement in sponsorship.
Resources Needed
There are no specific resources, simply access to a computer in order to carry out the project research and grant applications. A level of knowledge of NHSF (UK) may be beneficial.
Sustainability of the Project
The vision of this project is for us to create a project plan for grant applications whereby we are achieving deadlines of applying for grants, and hopefully seeing positive results. The project should be able to be continued once the four weeks are over.
