Project Name: Design a new Sixth-Form Newsletter Template

Project Background:
The sixth form team newsletter has been going for nearly two years and it has had the same template ever since. It’s now time to get funky! The newsletter gets sent out to many sixth form students every month and contains many inspiring stories, news, and quotes to boost the spirits of your fellow sixth formers. If you are a budding designer looking to get into the field of Design or Websites development then this is the choice for you.
Project Description:
The project will be a two phased project; design and implementation.
1. You will be designing the newsletter using your favourite design software.
2. You will send to the relevant people for approval and tweak any tweaks required.
3. You will learn and implement your design using HTML & CSS.
4. You will fix any issues there are on the template (and possibly the design) and send out your first newsletter!
This is not the easiest of tasks as there are many factors that you will need to think about however guidance will always be at hand if you do face any difficulties.
Resources Needed:
· Design package (Photoshop/Illustrator Desirable)
· Skype
· HTML design package (Dreamweaver/Expression Web Desirable)

Simple, every monthly newsletter will feature your design until the next template is designed.
