The National Hindu Students’ Forum (UK) (NHSF (UK)) London and South Zone is proud to present a 12 hour Krishna Kirtan. After a fantastic 9 hour Ram Dhun in Ilford, London NHSF (UK) London and South Zone are now holding their next Bhakti event in Slough Hindu Temple.

This year NHSF (UK) London and South Zone join together to worship Lord Krishna. More than 20 universities will come together to sing the Hare Krishna Mantra and partake in sewa throughout the event. The day will consist of collecting tinned food to donate to a local homeless shelter, an exhibition of Lord Krishna’s life and serving of Bhojan Prashad (offering of blessed food) to all attendees.

The 12 hour Krishna Kirtan will be an exciting chance for the Hindu samaj (community) to unite and learn about Lord Krishna. For our younger devotees there will be a kids’ corner where they can hear wonderful stories of Lord Krishna and have their face painted!!

NHSF (UK) is also proud to have Antony Nolan (UK Blood cancer charity) attend the event to sign up potential blood stem cell donors.

The 12 hour Krishna Kirtan will surely be bigger than NHSF South Zone’s previous Bhakti event and definitely something that you won’t want to miss!!

As we are days from the Kirtan, we remember the words of Lord Krishna from the Bhagvad Gita,

“Whatever you do, whatever you eat, whatever you offer as oblation to the sacred fire, whatever charity you give, whatever austerity you perform, do all that as an offering unto Me”
