The National Hindu Students’ Forum (UK) is shocked and deeply saddened this morning to hear of the sudden passing away of Shri Arjan ji Vekaria, President of the Hindu Forum of Britain.
Arjan ji was a supporter of the NHSF (UK) and came to several university events over the years, the most recent being the National Sports Competition in Tipton last year.
The Hindu community of the United Kingdom have lost a leader, colleague and dear friend who was committed to standing up for Hindu Dharma. Arjan ji’s achievements both in business and in community work are of great inspiration to students across the United Kingdom.
We wish his family and close associates our support during the difficult days to follow.
A one minute silence will be held at all NHSF (UK) events taking place this week.
